We are committed to supporting and enhancing Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) in South Africa and consider BEE through the inclusion of people from historically disadvantaged groups to be essential for successful transformation. It is our deliberate policy to foster and encourage the economic empowerment of Black South Africans. Subject to constraints and also subject to good business practice and commercial considerations, it is therefore considered appropriate that we should encourage business relationships with companies, which actively pursue sound Employment Equity and Black Economic Empowerment Programmes.

We support the identification, development and promotion of black businesses. The objective is to ensure that black suppliers have access to our supply chain resulting in an increase in the momentum of BEE procurement and to exceed the legislative targets.
